Working on Challenges!

Hi!

I have enjoyed creating the dolls and this blog to showcase them. All of it has been a learning process. My goal has always been to do better in creating the dolls and photographing them.  Photographing the dolls has been the biggest challenge (besides finding time). I've had a hard time making the dolls look the way I would like.
I decided to step away from the doll making process and study photography. My goal is to be able to photograph better so that I present the dolls the way I want. The time I spend making them is wasted if they don't look good in the photographs.
I wish all that view my blog a Merry Christmas and Happy Happy New Year!
God Bless!

Good Game of Foosball

Two buddies just playing a friendly game of Foosball!

Playing with My Train

Mohawks on little boys are so cute. I saw a little boy a week ago sporting one.  He wasn't a red head but I thought it would be fun to make a red head Mohawked boy.

Love to Read

This little lady went to live with my neighbor so she was created in her likeness. The plaits and purple eyeglasses helped to finish the look.:)  She has two dresses with shoes to go with each.
My neighbor loved her, she was almost speechless. That makes the long late nights worth it.:)

Personalize T-shirts

I made a couple of Valentine's Day t-shirts for friend's daughters as gifts. Little did I know that I would get more request for t-shirts.  Below are the two I made in February.

The t-shirts were a hit with both girls. I was glad to hear that because the images were made to look like them.:)

Lipstick Glam

The inspiration for this young lady came from the color scheme and patterns of friends. Both of them decorated their daughter's rooms with the same colors and patterns. It seems to be very popular at the moment.  I looked through a few fashion magazines and decided to have some fun.

Sunny Day

This little lady was created for a little friend of mine who will be celebrating a birthday this weekend. Purple is her favorite color and she loves dancing so I had to make a ballerina skirt.
I hope she likes her gift.
